Sell My Wedding
The Brief
Sell My Wedding, founded in 2011, has been successful in business since the day it launched on the wedding scene. After 10 years of business, the industry is changing and more up-cycling/recycling wedding businesses are popping up in the market.
It was time Sell My Wedding had a makeover. Although the business model and concept will remain the same, the previous colour palette and typography had become dated, we needed something fresh to stand out in today’s bridal industry. Getting married has become more diverse, people are more inclined to do it ‘their’ way, on all sorts of budgets. But a large consideration in today’s market is ethical responsibility, driving brides to businesses like Sell My Wedding where you can find ‘all things wedding’ for your special day.
With this in mind we needed to develop something cool and chic that would appeal to today’s brides, who want a fashionable wedding with a leaner price tag.

For this project I was drawn to vintage romanticism, but with a new eclectic twist. Think old love letters, dreamy romance, roses and poems pouring with love for another. The movie theatre kissing in the rain type love, rose-tinted and romantic. The items sold through Sell My Wedding hold so much value- a gift significant of one's love to another. The items hold that energy and intention, this is the circle of love Sell My Wedding creates.
“When you appoint Sam as your designer - you don't just get a design. Sam gets under the skin of your business, your clients and your industry.”
— Rebecca Aspin, Sell My Wedding Owner

“Sam immediately got where I was at and where the business needed to go. With very limited direction she created a new brand and look for our website. While respectful to the existing brand Sam wasn't afraid to do what was needed to move it in a new direction. From the colours used to the execution of the brand on our homepage and brand direction for our website developers - she totally nailed it and nothing was too much trouble. helped me fall in love with my business again.”
